- Create an account and sign in.
- Choose a practice template, or start a free practice. Or8tor supports structured templates with timed sections and custom criteria.
- Record or upload your practice video.
- Wait for analysis to complete—you will see progress updates while your video is processed.
- Review your results, including timestamped feedback, scores, and your transcript.
Video Upload and Processing
My upload fails or will not start
- Check your internet connection and try again on a stable network.
- Try a shorter video to test if size is the issue.
- Close other heavy apps or browser tabs that may be using bandwidth.
- If you are on mobile, confirm Or8tor has permission to access camera, microphone, and storage.
My video is stuck processing
Processing includes upload, transcription, and AI analysis, so it can take a little time depending on video length and network speed.
Try this: Keep the app open for a few minutes so progress updates can continue. Switch between WiFi and mobile data, then reopen the video result screen. If it still does not complete, submit a support request and include the approximate time you uploaded and the video title.
My transcript is missing or inaccurate
- Make sure your audio is clear, with minimal background noise.
- Speak towards the microphone and avoid covering it with a hand or case.
- If a specific section is wrong, send us the timestamp and what you said—we can use that to diagnose the issue.
Understanding Your Feedback and Scores
Or8tor analyses key public speaking signals such as gestures, facial expressions, posture, pace, tone, filler words, and eye contact, then provides structured, timestamped coaching feedback.
Why do I see different feedback between two similar videos?
Small differences in delivery can change the analysis—for example, changes in pace, pauses, lighting, camera angle, or how visible your hands are.
For best results: Record from a consistent position with good light and your upper body in frame.
Can I share feedback with a coach or team?
Yes. You can share practice videos in social spaces, and you can also use templates that others have shared with you.
Templates and Sharing
Templates help you practise with structure—for example, timed sections and custom evaluation criteria. Templates can be shared using a share token, and there are specialised modes such as a BNI weekly style template.
If a shared template link is not working:
- Ask the sender to generate a new share token.
- Make sure you are signed in to the same account on the device you are opening the link with.
Communities, Challenges, and Leaderboards
Or8tor supports communities that can be public or private, with join codes, plus challenges, a social feed, and leaderboards.
If you cannot join a community:
- Check the join code for spaces and typos.
- Confirm you are signed in.
- If it is a private community, ask the organiser to confirm the community is open to new members.
Monthly Recaps and Progress Tracking
You will see progress over time through practice tracking, speaker progression, badges, and monthly recap scorecards that highlight improvements and may include clips from practice sessions.
If your recap looks incomplete:
- Confirm you have completed practice sessions in the relevant month.
- Try refreshing the app, then reopening the recap.
